This past weekend was the Gilroy Premium Outlets Summer of Likes VIP Shopping Event. As you may know, I’ve partnered up with the Gilroy Premium Outlets a number of times in the past. I was super excited about the opportunity to work with them again. I did a number of pre-event coverage to help get the word out about their amazing VIP program as well as promoting the event itself. I attended on Saturday with my mom and Mason. We had so much fun and thankfully it wasn’t even that hot, for Gilroy’s standards!! The Summer of Likes shopping event was for their VIP club members. A number of stores participated in the event by giving an extra discount to VIP members as well as most of them had fun games and prizes.

The participating stores were: Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Adidas, True Religion, Ariat, and The North Face. Each location had a VIP check-in outside and either a photo op or game to claim your prize for the store. I think my favorite had to be Calvin Klein, because the pineapple juice was so refreshing and a big hit with Mason too. Not to mention, the cute CK t-shirt cookies! I also loved that The North Face was giving out air plants. Very “on brand” if you ask me! I’m all about a cute boomerang so Nike won me over with their booth outside. The only downside, when I tried to download it to my phone to post to my IG stories, it never sent me my boomerang (insert sad emoji face).
Nike is probably my favorite brand for shoes for Mason right now. I ended up buying three pairs for him. One that he can wear now, and two more in the next size up. With $20 off when you spend $100 how could I not. I bought him a new pair just a few weeks ago because he had outgrown his first pair of Nike’s. Now he is more than set to start his first year of preschool come September. Honestly, kids shoes are so hard to resist. They all just look so cute, especially on my little man’s feet!
When I’m at the Gilroy Premium Outlets I can’t help but stop in at all my favorite stores. I ended up leaving the day with (for me) a pair of running shoes, the perfect booties for fall, as well as two rompers, a top, and a denim skirt. And for Mason, I bought him 3 pairs of Nike’s (like I mentioned earlier) along with a Nike shirt since he spilled juice all over himself mid-way through the day. I had packed a pair of pants to change into, in case of an accident, but I didn’t think to bring an extra shirt (#momfail). But, with all that aside, I’d say it was a good shopping day!
I will definitely be back for next years Summer of Likes shopping event. It was so much fun and we were able to score so many great things within budget!
Thank you so much to the Gilroy Premium Outlets for sponsoring this post! As always, my opinions expressed on my blog are my own. Thank you so much for supporting the companies that help make Have Need Want possible.
