For all my last minute holiday shoppers, this post is for YOU! I’ve got your gift giving solved thanks to the ultimate holiday outlet sale going on now through Christmas Eve at the Gilroy Premium Outlets. If you’ve been a reader for a while, you should be familiar by now that the Gilroy Premium Outlets is my go to shopping destination for a good deal. So I am so excited to be partnering with them again to share their ultimate holiday outlet sale! The sale is open to all shoppers, unlike some of their other sales where you either need to be a VIP club member or you pay a small fee to get the discount book.
The Gilroy Premium Outlets has conveniently put together a guide to help you with your gift giving needs. They’ve broken up their stores by category to help you shop for everyone on your list. From the hostess with the mostess, to your favorite fitness buff, they’ve got you covered. I shopped on the first day the holiday outlet sale was open to the public. While I am a VIP Club member, Friday was my first opportunity to head to the outlets to get some toddler free shopping time. I’m pretty sure this was the first time EVER that I shopped at the outlets without Mason. Let’s just say I was able to cover a lot more ground and get my shopping done in one afternoon as opposed to always leaving without making it to all my well planned out shopping destinations.
My first stop of the day was to Vans. Justin is a die hard Vans fan. He’s worn the exact same style of Vans for years. I know I mentioned that in my gift guide for the laid back guy. So needless to say, I purchased a new pair so he can kick off the New Year with a new pair of kicks…even if they have been the same shoe for the last 10+ years.
After Vans, I jumped over to Eddie Bauer, to see if they had any nice pairs of leather gloves. And thankfully for me, they did. I was able to score them at 25% off which made them much more reasonable…though genuine leather gloves are not cheap (even at the outlets). Another perk about outlet shopping is what’s available in store is typically not available online, or if it is, it’s always less expensive in store. So if you live in the Bay Area it pays to visit the Gilroy Premium Outlets as opposed to shopping online. And most of the 145 stores don’t have outlet websites either.
After two stops for gift shopping for others, I decided it was time to treat myself, because who doesn’t love a buy one for someone else, buy one for yourself kind of deal! Let’s just say I hit the motherload when it came to holiday dressing and gifting at Kate Spade NY. The sales were UNREAL! I’m talking 50-70% off GOOD!! I scored some darling earrings for 60% off and found the perfect coat to bring with me to NYFW in February.
After Kate Spade, I checked out Under Armour for some athleisure wear. Got distracted at Polo Ralph Lauren and found the most festive outfit that can be worn for Christmas as well as transitioned into a great New Years Eve look. Stopped by Steve Madden to check out the shoes…because a girl can never have to many pairs of shoes! I found my favorite sock booties that I wear constantly in store in grey and black. They’re currently running a buy one get one 70% off! Which is a killer deal considering the prices they start at is already a discount from retail. And that’s in store only!
After Steve Madden I headed across the way to check out Levi’s. I’ve been wanting to get Justin a pair of classic Levi’s for a while and figured now would be a good time to check them out. He’s all about clean solid wash jeans and so Levi’s is perfect for that. They also have different wash jeans but enough of a variety to choose from that doesn’t have distressing or whiskering. I ended up getting distracted and found a nice flannel jacket which I remember him saying he could use a new one…hoping that means one of the 5 he owns will be on it’s way out to donation 😉 I also found the cutest fuzzy bomber jacket for myself that I just couldn’t resist at 40% off.
Last stop of the day was Express. Well actually there were a few other stops in between…just nothing exciting to report from them. Not to say that they didn’t have a good selection, just not what I was currently looking for. I went to The North Face hoping to find a fleece jacket for Mason. I just love their jackets but can’t think to spend full price for a toddler jacket Mason will grow out of in a year or so. Unfortunately, the smallest size they had would have been way too big for Mason. I’ll just have to keep an eye out online.
I also checked Lululemon because how could I not. I’m wearing workout clothes so much lately and can always use a new sports bra and leggings. They had some amazing sales and I think because of that they were running low on some sizes. I ended up passing on the few that I did find in my size because the prints weren’t really my style.
But back to Express! Remember how I shared that my sequin leggings from last year were on sale during Black Friday, well they had them at their outlet store too, and for even less. I ended up buying a second pair. Now that I think about it, I’m not exactly sure why I did since my pair is sitting pretty in my closet hoping to be brought out again this year. Maybe, I’ll just gift them to a friend. I also found the softest fuzzy sweater that I’ll probably be wearing NYE as I’ll be home with Mason celebrating the New Year with him before his bedtime then watching the ball drop in New York.
Well, there you have it, a recap of my shopping trip to the Gilroy Premium Outlets. As you can see, it was a very successful shopping trip. I ended up getting way more than I had planned to but also didn’t spend as much as I had budgeted. A total win, win! And if you’re wondering why I didn’t mention any gifts for Mason during this trip, other than the failed attempt at getting him a fleece jacket, it’s because I finished up his holiday shopping early November. And, I know that the rest of our family will probably be spoiling him with lots of great gifts too. If they would have had the fleece in his size I would have gotten it and given it to him when I got home but that’s just because I can’t pass up a good sale especially on toddler clothes and shoes.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! And as a special thank you to my local Bay Area readers, the Gilroy Premium Outlets and I are giving away a $200 gift card to help you finish up your holiday shopping!! Check out all the ways you can enter below 👇
