It’s our first holiday season as a family of five (I’m including the pups) and so I wanted to go all out when it came to our holiday cards this year. When I was looking for the perfect holiday card to customize I turned to Minted. The process was easy and being able to use their free recipient addressing was such a time saver!! Addressing all those cards takes quite a while and I don’t know about you but my hand starts to cramp up after a while so it takes forever!! Plus it looks amazing because it matches the design of the cards you select. Not to mention it’s a super quick turnaround. They have so many amazing holiday cards that will definitely leave a lasting impression on those who receive it. I’m a big fan of their gold foil stamped and letterpress cards. I think they add that perfect amount of glam.
We decided to go down to the local tree lot to snap some pictures for our holiday cards. I love the jumpsuit Mason is wearing. Besides being just adorable there is some major sentimental value because it was the same jumpsuit Justin wore home from the hospital when he was born. It’s crazy to think this fit Justin when he was born since Mason was two and a half months when the pictures were taken (going to be three months on Monday) and is now fitting into it. I wanted to surprise my mother-in-law who gave it to me at my baby shower so I did’t tell her he was going to be wearing it for the pictures. I’m hoping she’s received their card already…otherwise the cat is out of the bag on that one! I decided to have us go casual with our outfits rather than get dressed up, as I think it fits the scenery. Next year I may go a different route but I’m so happy with how it turned out!
Justin – Shirt: Old (found almost identical flannel). Jeans: Dickies. Shoes: Vans.
Mason – One of a kind knit jumpsuit (love this one and this one as an alternative).
Another favorite feature is that you can select the picture you’re wanting to use for your holiday cards and then quickly see what it will look like on the different holiday card designs. This made it much easier for me to make up my mind on which card to go with. If you ask Justin he’ll tell you that I rarely make up my mind easily and for something as important as Mason’s first holiday I knew I might have a hard time deciding.
