Thanks to my research and following a ton of Oahu photographers I found out about Lanai Lookout, Oahu’s hidden gem. The photos I’d seen were unreal and so I knew we had to see it in person. I was a little nervous for the hike down with Mason but he did great and held onto our hands the whole way. I took my sandals off so I wouldn’t slip. Lanai Lookout is such an amazing natural wonder. The water carving out all those striations in the rocks and creating so many cool nooks and crannies.
I wore this C/MEO eyelet dress without the slip underneath as a swim coverup. The color is absolutely beautiful and it will transition so well into fall with just a few tweaks. I’m thinking of wearing it with my Tory Burch belt and boots this fall so be ready for a repeat of this dress!
I don’t know exactly what it was about this place but I was feeling playful and creative when Justin and I shot this look. It’s definitely different than the content we normally produce, so I’d love to know your thoughts on it. I’m loving the movement and more candid, less posed pictures. I feel like it shows off the sleeves on this dress as well. Anyway, this dress is old but I’m still loving the eyelet trend and balloon sleeves so I’ve found some fun alternatives I wanted to share. If you have a favorite I’d love to know which one it is!
Also, if you’re planning a trip to Oahu and want to know where this spot is, here’s the address to put into your phone: 8102 Kalanianaʻole Hwy, Honolulu, HI 96825.
Dress: C/MEO Collective, old. Sandals: Tory Burch. Bag: Caterina Bertini, old but here are a few ones I’m eyeing right now 1 | 2 | 3. Sunglasses: Chloe.
