This past weekend I attended my first wedding of the season. I headed to Seattle with my family to celebrate the union of great longtime family friends Flora and Betsy. After over 30 years of being committed to one another they were finally able to make it official!
Their wedding was joyous and beautiful. They decided to showcase their many travels as their theme of the wedding. Rather than table numbers they opted for their favorite destinations. With every special occasion, I find myself renting my dress from Rent the Runway so that I can wear something new every time while saving my wallet. It was only coincidence that I settled on a Thakoon dress called Let’s Fly Away.
It may have been wishful thinking that it wouldn’t rain in Seattle but thankfully between the downpour the clouds dried up long enough to snap some pictures near our condo we rented before heading to the wedding venue.
If you haven’t checked out Rent the Runway before I highly recommend it!
