Holman Ranch is a absolutely stunning location for any event. I’ve had a number of people I know get married there. So when they invited me up for a weekend to stay at the Holman Ranch I jumped at the opportunity! Their hospitality cottages are available for people who book an event at the Holman Ranch, like a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or corporate event, or if you’re a Grand Estate Club wine club member you receive a complimentary two-night stay for two. The grounds are beautiful and lucky for me the weather cooperated and we had spectacular views of the Carmel Valley. I really enjoyed getting to check out all the different spaces on the Holman Ranch property, walking through the vineyards and getting a tour of the wine cave. There is something so beautiful about wine barrels, do you agree?, or is my wino self coming out?!
Holman Ranch has a tasting room down the road from their winery and vineyards where anyone can visit and taste their delicious wines and if you love them as much as I do, sign up for their wine club. Oh and they have sister winery Jarman wines and a local Carmel Valley restaurant called Will’s Fargo with their own house wines as well so you’ve got many choices when it comes to experiencing all of the Holman Ranch. Will’s Fargo just underwent a huge remodel and menu overhaul and during my visit to Holman Ranch I got to enjoy their new menu for dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious and for any local to Carmel or the Bay Area who has been to Will’s Fargo before don’t worry they’ve kept their fan favorites on the menu so you can still get the best of the old menu with a mix of all their new culinary creations.
So by now you’ve probably realized that you can have an entire weekend getaway around nothing else but Holman Ranch and their sister businesses. And trust me, you won’t be disappointed. There is so much charm and beauty around every corner in Carmel Valley and at Holman Ranch. If you’ve never visited I highly recommend it and if you love wine head to either (or both) of their tasting rooms, Holman or Jarman!
