Last year we started the family tradition of wearing matching Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. Mason was one and we wanted to make sure the holidays were extra special for him. This year we definitely feel like he gets the holidays. He seems to be very interested in our holiday decor and has learned to “one finger touch” all our decorations. I am very attached to our vintage Christmas ornaments and don’t want to have to put them away till he’s older. So thankfully he listens to our requests and doesn’t grab or pull any of our holiday tree decor.
This year we took our matching Christmas jammies down to the beach for a fun holiday photoshoot. A very beach town Christmas! This is our second year ordering Burts Bees Baby Family Pajamas. They are seriously the most soft and comfortable matching jammies for the entire family. I adore the Christmas prints. These hand sketched snowflake pajamas are too cute. Justin wasn’t too into the bright red henley that came with his set so he just wore his charcoal grey henley with the pajama bottoms. Hopefully, just like last year, Mason will fit into his jammies for the entire year and be ready for a new pair just in time for next year.
I feel like the tradition of wearing matching jammies makes the season that much more magical. To put them on Christmas Eve and to wake up to a tree and stockings full of presents is a wonderful way to add excitement and magic to the season. Mason and I wore our matching jammies to decorate our Christmas tree while Justin was at work after Thanksgiving. It was fun to stay in our jammies all day and deck the house for the holidays.
