On my second to last full day in New York I was able to sleep in since all my shows were in the afternoon. I got to see Taoray Wang, thanks to my friend March. I was really excited to see the show, as this was the first time I got to watch it live and from the second row! Next I had Reem Acra, another major pinch me moment, thanks to my friend Cathy! A serious dream to see her show and in such an intimate space. The runway was long but there were only 4 or 5 rows deep. I was fortunate to be able to be seated right on the isle so I could get a good look of each look that was sent down the runway. I loved all the colors, it truly reminded me a a bazaar. This was one of my most memorable shows, for sure. I rounded out the evening going to see Vivienne Tam! Another designer I had been requesting to see each season, and this was the first season I received an invite. I loved how sporty the collection was. It was very wearable and you could definitely see her inspiration in her pieces just like with Reem Acra. It’s always nice to read about the back story behind the collection before it is sent down the runway. Here are just some of my favorite pieces from each collection. I hope you enjoy!
