So when I was shopping for holiday outfits, I saw this sheer floral organza blouse from Topshop and thought it was super fun. I envisioned it for a girls night out for the holidays. Maybe happy hour or dinner and drinks. It could also make a great date night top. My main concern was if it was going to be too sheer or look inappropriate for a mom to be wearing out. Yes it’s sheer, but with the dark floral print and the layered ruffles it’s not like you can see my bra…or can you?! I think that this structured organza blouse is so pretty and could be paired with so many things this holiday season.
You all know I love me some leggings so when I came across these velvet and faux leather leggings they were a must add to my closet. Because of the faux leather back I feel like they’re more like pants than leggings so wearing a top that doesn’t cover the bum is totally ok.
To tie my whole outfit together I wanted multiple pops of red to really highlight the sheer floral organza blouse. I love when I can use my Perrin Paris clutch. It’s definitely a statement bag and not one I can wear too often but, I love being able to bring it out for the holidays!! Also, these red booties, which I’ve owned for a few years was the perfect compliment to my ensemble. I found a similar pair which is so affordable. Surprisingly, I wear these booties often. What do you think about this holiday party outfit?! Would you rock the sheer organza blouse trend??? Let me know in the comments below!
