As you all know, I love working with the Gilroy Premium Outlets. I have been partnering with them for the past few years and am so happy to be continuing to grow our partnership. Today I’m working with them on something special, Mason’s first Back to Preschool style. Mason started preschool last year after he turned two and now we’re getting ready for his second year at preschool! I always loved back to school shopping with my mom. I have fond memories of our back to school shopping trips and special outings to get me ready for the next school year. So you can imagine how excited I was to start this tradition with Mason.
The Gilroy Premium Outlets have so many great premium shops. And, a lot of brands we already love buying for Mason have stores at the GPO! Some of our favorite brands to shop for Mason are Levi’s, Vans, Adidas, Volcom, Janie and Jack, The North Face, and Ralph Lauren Kids. Levi’s unfortunately doesn’t carry their toddler sizes in store (that’s online only) but they do have clothes for big boys. What I love about Levi’s is that they have something for moms and dads too. They also take the suggestions and feedback they receive to help them design new pieces. They now have a 311 Shaping Skinny to help suck you in a bit. Who doesn’t love that?! I did a quick try-on of a few different denim cuts to show you the difference in styles. I personally love the classic Wedgie Skinny.
Shopping with Mason isn’t always easy, especially at this age. I was hoping we’d be able to make it to more shops and get a little more try-ons with him but ultimately at this stage, I was better off just asking him to choose which clothes he liked better and having him put them on when we were home. I feel for everyone who was waiting patiently in line at the dressing rooms, especially when I was struggling to get him to put on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt at True Religion. We kept them waiting a long time and I was embarrassed at how much coaxing I needed to do to get him to let me take off his shirt he was wearing. Regardless, we had a great day and I scored so many great back to preschool styles for him.
If you have older kids there are so many amazing stores for back to school shopping besides the stores I mentioned already above. Lululemon is stocked with so many amazing pieces for athleisure as well as loungewear for study sessions. PS any time is a good time for some new workout clothes but I love the excuse of back to school to pick up a few new pieces. And Kate Spade, which is one of my personal favorite stores at the Gilroy Premium Outlets, always has new inventory every time I visit. There are so many cute styles it can be hard to decide on what to get but thankfully the prices are SO GOOD. I can stretch my shopping budget and get so much more and come home with something for everyone, or in the case of this back to preschool shopping trip, lots of back to school styles for Mason!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope you enjoyed the post. And a big thank you to the Gilroy Premium Outlets for sponsoring this post and for our continued partnership!
