One thing I have a hard time doing is dressing for winter. While it rarely gets super cold in Cali when it does, I’m never prepared. I end up layering clothes for winter looks that probably should best be kept in the closet for warmer days. I don’t know why I can’t seem to get myself to spend money on pieces that will keep me warm on those super crisp and cold days. Instead, I am always trying to get more life out of my silk blouses and crop tops. Layering my silky blouse with a cotton crop definitely doesn’t keep me warm but layering my leather jacket, a closet staple, over allows for my to stay warm on cool days. I also had a cashmere infinity scarf (not pictured). I tend to wear neutral colors during the winter so when I felt like brightening up my day layering these vibrant complementary colors together just felt right!
