After having anticipated and scheduled the first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale in my calendar, I finally got to shop it the other day! Life, sometimes it gets in the way of what's most important, like a great sale, just kidding! But really, I'd been waiting to check out the sale, and thanks to early access I was able to score most of the items I wanted! Here's the list of my top 14 picks, for the #nsale plus beauty exclusives and no I did not buy all 14, that would be crazy! 1. Karen Kane / 2. Dior / 3. Kate Spade / 4. ... Read more...

Recipe: Macadamia Nut Crusted Mahi Mahi
After picking up some fresh Mahi Mahi from the store the other day I got the idea to try and make a restaurant favorite, macadamia nut crusted Mahi Mahi. The setting couldn't have been more perfect. Jess wore head-to-toe Valentino, she was stunning! I opted to wear a turquoise and dark navy (almost black) striped dress by Kenneth Cole New York and my ... Read more...
Weekend Highlight: Local Getaway

We planned a last minute trip up to Tomales Bay, Petaluma, and Sonoma. We went to Tomales Bay so that we could stop at Hog Island Oyster Company before going wine tasting. Justin loves oysters, so I thought it would be a great trip we both could enjoy. It was so nice to start our trip by driving over the Golden Gate bridge out of the fog and into the sunshine! It was such a lovely ... Read more...
