Now that it’s officially fall we can expect to start to experience cooler temps. This summer definitely felt weird since so much of what we normally do in the summertime was cancelled because of Covid. At the beginning of the season, I purchased a number of summery dresses and while I wore them whenever possible, they definitely didn’t get the normal wear they would have any other summer. Because I’m sure I’m not the not one feeling this way, I wanted to share some outfit inspo on transitioning summer dresses to wear in fall. This way, we can all get more wear out of our favorite summer dresses and still stay warm enough for fall weather.
5 Tips for transitioning summer dresses to wear in fall:
1. Layer a thin t-shirt underneath a spaghetti strap dress.
2. Wear with booties, knee high boots, or over the knee boots.
3. Put on a long cardigan or jacket.
4. Layer a sweater over your dress and use a belt to tuck the front of the sweater in so it sits right at your natural waist.
5. Wear with tights to keep your legs warmer.
