I was so excited to find this Fall floral shift dress during my visit to Nordstrom Valley Fair for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, Pre-Sale event for Icon and Ambassador status cardholders. It was so nice to be able to shop the sale early and score all the pieces I had my eye on. I still ordered a few items that weren’t available in store so I can’t wait to receive them to share with you. But first up is this dress! I bought it in a size petite small and let me tell ya, I will be wearing it from now through fall and possibly into winter.
To share with you how versatile this dress can be, I quickly styled it 3 ways. The first is to wear it now while the weather is warm. Wear with a pair of slides or sandals. These Tory Burch slides were included in the sale but sold out super quick! I know they’re not the exact pair but these Tory slides are available in 4 colors. At night when it starts to get a bit chilly throw on a lightweight cardigan like this one.
For Fall transition, throw on a long vest or sleeveless trench coat over your fall floral shift dress and wear with booties. This look feels so much more like Fall but still is lightweight enough for pre-fall weather. These sock booties are from last year and I am still so obsessed! I’ve found them still available but not in this color.
For Fall, I love wearing my OTK boots with dresses. My legs stay warm even when its cool outside and they always make any outfit look so chic! It was honestly too hot to wear a coat but envision with me, if you will, that I’m wearing my wool wrap coat over this dress. I’m talking about this coat right here. There are so many current options available that you will surely get your moneys worth out of it. I’ve had this one for almost a year now and I plan to wear it this Fall and Winter too. If you don’t have a grey coat in your closet, I highly recommend getting yourself one! Also, how cute is this hat?! I think I’ve finally found a few hat shapes that flatter my face and the Panama hat is definitely one of them.
