On day six of New York Fashion Week I had a really light day of shows and after five days of shows already down I was actually looking forward to a more relaxing day. One thing I love about fashion in general and fashion week in particular is that I always get introduced to new fashion designers. This season was the first time I had heard of Georgine. I was extended an invite to her runway show at Lincoln Center and was excited to go. The collection blew me away. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start day six. After days of braving the freezing cold weather I was running out of options. I had packed a range of clothing from sweaters, pants, skirts, and dresses. It was just too cold to wear a dress but I was able to wear some of my skirts with tights and sweaters and my coat and fur. For day six I wore my Ostwald Helgason skirt, wore here and here. This was one of those purchases I couldn’t not make. I found it on Shopbop when Ostwald Helgason was being featured as a new designer they were carrying. I must say I learn about a number of designers through the site. Shopbop has quite the collection of designer brands on their site and are getting new ones in stock all the time like two of their latest Koku and Prabal Gurung. My Tibi coat also came from the site. If you can’t tell, Shopbop is my go to shopping site to stock up on my seasonal and classic wardrobe staples. During my trip to New York, and just the day before, I visited the Kendra Scott showroom, and was so thoughtfully gifted a few pieces from their latest collection. I couldn’t wait to wear them and so you can see in my outfit here I’m wearing my new necklace and bracelet.
