The other weekend Mason and I drove over the hill to check out the Donald J Pliner Spring 2017 preview at their Santana Row location. We arrived a little late to the party but we had a fabulous time non the less and closed the place down. I loved the live musician Mitchell Lujan and DJ, yummy lite bites, and of course the shoes!! Oh the shoes!!!
My first pair of Donald J Pliner heels were from their stretch mesh collection many years ago, like when I was in college. It’s still a staple in their current collections and this pair is probably my favorite! Donald J Pliner shoes are known for being not only stylish but also incredibly comfortable. Their heels are super easy to walk in all day long and their flats hug your arches making them oh so comfortable.
I loved all of their cork sandals with the metallic specks and I had actually been eyeing this pair prior to the event that I saw in their spring 2017 lookbook that they sent to me. After seeing them all in person I have to say that this low heeled woven sandal and this wedge sandal are also on my wishlist now.
There were so many options that were perfect for spring and right on with the latest trends that it made it really difficult to decide on just one pair to take home with me. I couldn’t decide between going with a practical everyday shoe or going with a statement heel that I could wear for date nights and NYFW. If you couldn’t tell, I ended up going with the fun statement heel perfect for date night and the upcoming September NYFW. I can’t resist a gorgeous heel, even if I’m a new mom and will be unable to wear them as often as I might have before Mason, but look at these, how could I not resist?! They come in a two-tone version like the ones I got and they also come in an all silver version.
