You know how they say you should dress for the job you want not the job you have. I’m not saying that the job I have now isn’t great, it is, but I definitely don’t plan for this to be the best position I ever hold. So, if you want to be a boss, then dress like a boss! Well, there are some days where I abide by that rule and there are others where I prefer to dress more casually, I do work at a startup. I plan my outfits around how I feel, so when I get up in the morning, I go with what I gravitate towards. A pencil skirt is a great option for dressing up a work ensemble and for me, makes me feel like I’m dressing for that next promotion.
