While it seems like the weather here on the west coast has been stubborn to change to Fall, hello heat wave we had the first two weeks of October, I am ready to bust out my outerwear and get cozy the next few months. Thankfully the temps are starting to drop and so I am on the hunt for some key outerwear pieces to add to my currently unorganized closet, more on that coming to the blog soon. There are a few key pieces you should have in your closet for the Fall/Winter season here in Cali and they are the following: trench coat, leather jacket, oversized sweaters, and this seasons trends I want to rock, the blanket coat, pastel coat, and cape. There really isn’t a need for a heavy duty coat even on the coldest of days here. If you’re planning a trip to Tahoe then some fleece and down could be good additions to this list. I have scoured Nordstrom and these are my favorites for outerwear trends for fall.
