Like every designer collab with Target, I have the launch date on my calendar months before. When the collection goes live, I make note of the pieces I’d like to have. I really scored with the Altuzarra collaboration with Target, as you can see here. I fell in love with the entire collection and was able to snag almost all of the pieces I wanted. The collection was right in jewel tones and perfect for the holiday season that’s rapidly approaching. This emerald green snakeskin fit-n-flare skirt really surprised me though. I wasn’t too sure about it, it looked great during the collection preview but you never really know until you see it in person. The skirt fits amazingly and I love the snakeskin print. I have already worn it on a number of occasions. Today I paired it with an old closet favorite of mine, a wool ruche Calvin Klein shell, and accessorized with patent leather details. My Manolo Blahnik black patent leather Mary-Janes are a perfect match with my patent leather mini waist belt. The ruby patent leather Burberry handbag is a great contrast to the emerald green skirt. If you can’t tell, I am enjoying mixing different shades of green and red lately.
