I brought this floral maxi skirt with me to my recent trip up to wine country. I think it’s the perfect summer maxi skirt. There’s a slit in the front which is kind of hidden until you start walking in it. I love that it sits right at your natural waist and is super breezy, perfect for a hot summer day. I had brought couple options for tops to go with this skirt but after being up for a whole day the day before and checking the weather I decided on just wearing my basic nursing tank to make it easier for me when feeding Mason but also to hopefully help with the heat. I had also planned on wearing these heels with it but after twisting my ankle the day before and falling in my wedges (which now come in navy suede!!) I decided it was best to stick with sandals and just pick up the front of my skirt when I walked.
I wore this to go wine tasting. It was extremely hot in Healdsburg and so rather than try and get to as many wineries as we could we had a leisurely lunch in town then decided to head to J Vineyards & Winery for some champagne. While we were there towards the end of their tasting hours they let us go into the J Legacy room where we enjoyed our champagne flight and a cheese plate. Everyone there was so friendly and accommodating with Mason. I was already a fan of their wine and champagne and after our pleasant and excellent experience I decided to join their wine club.
