When I look at this off the shoulder maxi dress I think resort wear, so perfect for spring and summer. I first thought of this dress for my trip to Napa but when it didn’t arrive in time I decided to wear it to recent trip to Monterey and Carmel by the Sea for my Dad’s birthday. We ended up going wine tasting at a tasting room in Carmel so I wasn’t too far off from Napa, right?! It wasn’t what I had in mind with walking through the vineyards in this flowy off the shoulder maxi dress but I got the wine part right 😉
I have always loved off the shoulder tops and dresses but have never really found them to be all that flattering on me. Well actually the bigger issue I’ve found is that the sleeve always comes over my shoulder while I’m wearing it. This off the shoulder maxi dress was worth having to keep pulling the top down on each side as the day went on. Picking up and carrying Mason made the top come up but man was it easy to breastfeed him while we were out and about. This dress is definitely not a nursing dress but it was very easy to work with.
