I know I’ve said this so many times already but I can hardly believe my baby is already 3! It seems like yesterday that he was born. This year for his third birthday I decided to throw an Octonauts themed birthday party for Mason and his friends. I love a good theme party. For Mason’s first birthday party we went with a Daniel Tiger theme since that was his favorite show at the time. After taking a break for his second birthday I was so excited for this year now that Mason has made some really close friends in preschool and outside of preschool.
He is obsessed with Octonauts and so I wanted to surprise him with an Octonauts themed birthday party. It was hard keeping it a secret from him and he did sneak a peek of his invitations as I was designing them. After seeing his excitement after seeing his birthday party invites I knew that I had to really pull out the stops for him to make it extra magical. I was on the hunt for everything Octonauts! Until now, he had only wanted the show (daily) but didn’t have any of the toys or figurines so I was a mama on a mission to find as many as I could without over spending. It’s honestly shocking how expensive all these toys are. I was able to find a whole lot for sale on craigslist which was a total score. After that, everything kind of fell into place.
I have been waiting to see it all come together and I am so excited to share all the details of Mason’s Octonauts themed birthday party with you! I found a great invitation template that I used for Mason’s birthday party invites. And scored some printables for some of the food. They were a nice extra touch to give it a little something extra. Besides that, I looked to Pinterest for a lot of themed party inspiration and then adapted to what I could find and within my taste.
I’d love to know what you think about Mason’s Octonauts themed birthday party! I have included absolutely everything I got to make this all come together so perfectly.
