Wine tasting in Napa Valley is one of my favorite things to do and is an easy getaway from Santa Cruz. The weather is typically really nice and temperate just like the Bay Area and so dressing for Napa Valley is not much different than dressing for wine tasting in say Hollister Hills at Leal Estate Vineyards (where Justin and I got married almost four and a half years ago). I love wearing dresses but Santa Cruz can be so casual and on the weekends during the day I tend to end up wearing jeans or shorts unless it’s totally hot and then I’ll throw on a casual breezy dress. So when I head to wine country I like to pack lightweight dresses and skirts that aren’t too fancy but at the same time aren’t as casual as my normal go-to’s.
This top and skirt combo screams Napa Valley, Carmel Valley, Sonoma, or Calistoga and can easily be taken from daytime wine tasting to dinner out with the swap of the shoes and accessories.
