Day three of NYFW wasn’t nearly as crazy as day two. For some reason, usually the first few days are the most jam packed and after that my schedule lightens up. This season wasn’t too different. I was really looking forward to today shows. The day started out in the late morning, thankfully I got to sleep in a little bit, with Taoray Wang. This was the second season I got to attend her show. I was really impressed with last seasons show and was looking forward to seeing the latest collection. I was very impressed! Next show of the day was a little later in the afternoon, Son Jung Wan. This season was the first time I was invited to their show so I was really excited about attending. Then right after was Leanne Marshall. I love seeing Leanne’s collection season after season and so I couldn’t wait to see what she had in store for us this season. I was participating in a fun campaign during the show so I had a really good seat/view of the collection. Next was a presentation at Pier 59 Studios for Michelle Helene. This season was her debut at NYFW. It was a small collection and space but presentations are nice because you can really see the details in the pieces because you can get a close look at each piece. The night finished up with another first and NYFW moment attending Monique Lhuillier’s show. I luckily ended up with an isle seat so I had a good view of the runway but sadly my pictures didn’t turn out all that good. Harsh lighting, and an iPhone don’t always work out, well actually very rarely do they work out unless you’re in the front row. I had my DSLR with me as well but being in the fifth row, I had a hard time getting a good shot. The pictures kept being washed out because of the lighting and flashes from the photographers pit. Well, I hope you enjoyed my second runway recap from this seasons NYFW!
