Last night I was thinking about my husband, if you’re new to my blog or just forgot he is currently overseas, and our short time in SoCal. How I’ve been missing our place in Carlsbad; our amazing roof deck with ocean views situated within walking distance to the beach, shops, and a number of great coffee spots. Anyway, last night I couldn’t help but think about how wonderful the last week was before he left and I made the drive back up north. We crammed in as much romantic time as we could and on our last night we took a hot air balloon ride over San Diego. It was an incredible way to close out this part of our latests chapter together, our first year of marriage. So I decided that I would post some pictures of the place I was fortunate enough to call home for five months; from the sky.
The hot air balloon ride was so much fun, we both got to check it off our bucket lists together and it was great way to spend quality time together one-on-one before our long time apart.
