Last Friday before the rain storm really started I took my family to California’s Great America for the first night of Winterfest! This was the first year we’ve been to Winterfest and let me just say that this is going to be a new family holiday tradition. We all had an amazing time, even though it was freezing! Mason was in awe of everything!! Justin and I had so much fun taking Mason around the park to check out everything. We enjoyed cookie decorating at Mrs Claus’ kitchen, loved all the live holiday music and performances, and took in all the holiday lights!! We decided to save our fast passes for another visit later this month so that we weren’t feeling too rushed through everything. Also, crossing our fingers for slightly warmer conditions! It was in the 40’s the other night!! 🥶
We have been in the holiday spirit since the day after Halloween thanks to Mason immediately asking about Santa and wanting to watch “Christmas.” The Grinch has been on repeat!!! We’ve been holiday off on holiday music till after Thanksgiving. But, after experiencing Winterfest, I’m ready for ALL the holiday music!!
If you are in the Bay Area, I highly recommend planning a trip to Great America this month so you can experience Winterfest! Park hours are 5-10pm most Friday-Sunday in the month of December but definitely check out their site for all holiday park hours!
