We have a very merry surprise to share with you all this holiday season. We’re expecting baby #2! It has been so hard to keep secret. Baby A is due this June!! I have longed and prayed for another baby for the past few years and here we are. Pregnant for a second time and I couldn’t be more thrilled!! Mason is already beyond excited to be a big brother. He’s been telling us how he also has a baby in his belly, which is super cute. This pregnancy already couldn’t be more different from the first. This time around I had ALL the pregnancy symptoms. I pretty much knew a week or two before I could even take a pregnancy test that I was pregnant. I feel so blessed to be adding another little one to our family. My heart is already growing in size to accommodate the love for another baby. Boy or Girl I am so ready to be a mom of two and just pray for a healthy baby to bring home in June. I can’t wait to take you along this journey again! If you weren’t around when I was pregnant with Mason you can read up about my prior experience leading to motherhood: here for our pregnancy announcement, my 25 week update, 29 week update, Mason’s birth story, and and 6 months postpartum. I’ve got lot’s more pregnancy related posts that you can find under my motherhood tab but those are some of the more major posts you might have missed.
Here are our holiday baby announcement photos we took a few weeks ago. I got so many great announcement ideas from Pinterest that I couldn’t decide on just one way to announce so we shot a couple of them. I’d love to know which announcement photo is your favorite! And I decided to include a photo of how I broke the news to Justin. It’s funny how he also had a feeling I was pregnant before I told him and he pretty much nailed the conception date (our anniversary getaway to Half Moon Bay!) which we found out after my first ultrasound.
Any other expecting mamas due in June? Let me know if this is your first, second, third, etc. I’m excited to be sharing this pregnancy with all of you!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! And if you know someone who is pregnant and is looking for a way to announce their pregnancy be sure to share these ideas with them. Yes, I went holiday themed but you could easily swap out the Christmas decor for whatever season you are in.
