Today has started out as a gloomy day but I am hopeful that the fog will die off and it will be another beautiful day. I have been making any excuse to get dressed up to wear all of my summer dresses. This one in particular is a gorgeous summer pastel floral print. The other day I wore it to brunch with my mom up at Chaminade. It was nice to get out for lunch. We were the only ones there and so we got to enjoy the gorgeous views all to ourselves. It was like a mini vacation. I have to admit that shelter-in-place and all these months of quarantine have really made me appreciate the little things and not take for granted those things that I use to.
I’ve been able to get creative and work on some outstanding projects I have been wanting to tackle for a long time, like switching out our blinds for window shades, refinishing our outdoor furniture, and starting to enjoy gardening. But there are a few things I can’t wait to start doing once allowed again. One being going back to church and getting to wear this dress!
