Friends, I appreciate you bearing with me as I slowly but surly get through all my NYFW content. My day four of NYFW was such a fun and super full day. I love the shows, I love going backstage, and I love a good event. Day four had a little bit of everything! My day started off with the Nonie runway show. You may have heard of Nonie, thanks to Meghan Markle. She sported a Nonie trench coat dress a little while ago. I was excited to see her collection. And as I imagined, it was absolutely beautiful. The color palette was white, navy, yellow, and red. I think my favorite pieces had to be the sheer trench coats as well as the silk dresses/skirts with ruched details.

After Nonie, I took an Uber over to Wall Street with a blogger friend, Lizzie (Lizzie In Lace) to go backstage at Tibi with Aveda. I loved the experience the year before and was so happy to be able to do it again this year. Being backstage is always so much fun. I truly enjoy the hustle and bustle watching everything unfold around me. A blogger that I have been following for a while and have been super inspired by, Tezza, was also backstage. It was so much fun getting to meet her, even if for only a brief moment before the show started.
I didn’t get a chance to get my hair touched up by the Aveda team before I had to leave but that’s totally ok because the rain really started to come down. It would have been a shame to have just gotten a fresh blowout only for it to get destroyed while waiting for my Uber to pick me up.

From Tibi, I had to rush to Pier 59 for Romeo Hunte. Unfortunately, the traffic was insane thanks to the rain and afternoon New York traffic. Runway shows always start late and that has been my saving grace each season. I’m especially lucky with this when I have an assigned seat (like I did for this show). This was one time that didn’t help me out. Thankfully as I arrived and the show let out I spotted someone who might know about backstage access. She was so nice and super helpful. She pointed me in the right direction for backstage. I walked in and went to the first volunteer that I saw and asked if it would be ok for me to come backstage and take some pictures of the models who were still wearing the collection for my blog. She got me to the right person, and I feel like being kind and grateful was what got me the OK. The collection, or what I saw of it, was super cool!
In between my next shows I headed back to my hotel in Tribeca to move my luggage to my next hotel for the remainder of the trip. Since I was solo the rest of the time in New York I moved to a hotel in Soho to save a little money and get a change of scenery which I have to admit I love. It makes these trips almost feel like two. After I got settled in my hotel, I met up with Lavenda before heading to our next show for the night, Ruby Fang. Let me just saw, WOW! I was blown away by her collection. It was STUNNING!! Every single piece that walked down the runway was so beautiful. There is no way I could pick a favorite.
After Ruby Fang, we jetted off to the Vogue x Kendra Scott party. I loved the party Vogue hosted last year and so I knew this was going to be a fun time. You all know I love Kendra Scott, so I’ll never pass up a chance to meet with the team and attend one of their events. On a total side note, if you’re in the Bay Area, I am hosting an event with Kendra Scott on Santana Row for their latest collection launch. I’ve posted details about the event on my Facebook page, so if you’re free anytime between 5-8pm go check it out!!
The highlight of the event was getting to catch up with some of my favorite blogger babes, as well as meet new ones! I also got to meet the first fashion blogger I ever followed, Blaire Eadie (Atlantic-Pacific). She was so sweet and it was so kind of her to take pictures and chat with all of us. After the Vogue x Kendra Scott party I needed food. Lavenda and I started our way back to Soho and on the way found this super cute spot for dinner called Sanctuary T. The food was so yummy and totally hit the spot. We sampled a number of their plates and enjoyed a glass of wine before parting ways for the night.
