This past Thursday I hosted a Girl’s Night Out shopping event at ThredUp at their Los Gatos location. If you’re not aware ThredUp is one of the largest online consignment shops. They recently started opening up some brick and mortar locations in the Bay Area. These locations look nothing like what you’d expect a consignment shop to look like. They look like any other boutique and fit in nicely with the style of other Los Gatos boutiques.
ThredUp so generously offered 30% discount to anyone who shopped the day of the event along with providing yummy brownie bites and rosé and champagne! We also had a raffle for anyone in attendance to win a Ralph Lauren leather and suede fringe bucket bag. (PS the winner has been contacted directly) I really enjoyed meeting with everyone and helping out shoppers with styling tips as well as finding the perfect piece they were looking for.
I hadn’t hosted a shopping event in quite a while and so it was really fun getting to host at ThredUp! For those of you who are out of town or couldn’t make it, I wanted to share a little inside peek of the store and event. They did such a great job decorating! I was having so much fun I forgot to take many pictures during the event but got lots before. I did remember to snap a picture with the last shoppers of the evening. These ladies were so fun and so nice! I really enjoyed getting to know them and help them with fit questions as well as recommend some tops to them I thought they would like and look good in. All three of them walked away with a few things they loved!
