As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Justin and I spent last weekend in Santa Barbara. We stayed at the Kimpton Goodland hotel in Goleta. When I’m booking a hotel in any destination I’m always drawn to unique decor. I love that Kimpton hotels are also unique to their location. The surfboard hanging in the hotel lobby, record shop sporting some major vinyl, wood detailing on the restaurant bar, and morning poolside yoga are all some of the reason why I loved staying at this hotel.
Justin and I years ago took a trip to Huntington Beach and we stayed at The Shorebreak Hotel, now part of the Kimpton properties. I selected it because I knew Justin would like the decor and it would a great mix of our styles, just like The Goodland hotel. My love for luxury, and his love for a laid back lifestyle and well surfing of course make these two properties a good blend of both of us!
I wish we could have stayed one more night so that we could have spent a little more time in Santa Barbara and at the hotel. But now it just means that we are going to have to plan a trip back soon!
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!
