Justin, Mason and I recently went on a mini vacay down to Newport Beach. I absolutely love Southern CA and so any excuse to take a trip down, I’m all for it! This trip was sparked because of our friends baby shower. Normally, we wouldn’t make a trip out of it seeing as it’s expensive to stay in Newport but thanks to JIFU Travel we were able to save a couple hundred dollars and go for three days and two nights. We stayed at the Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel! I’m all about boutique hotels and while the Renaissance wouldn’t be considered a boutique hotel the hotel interior would make you think otherwise. I was loving the beachy vibes and it gave me so much inspiration for some of our upcoming home projects.
The weather couldn’t have been nicer while we were in town. We had the absolute best time! We enjoyed the pool, took cover from the sun and had our nap time under one of their cabanas and of course enjoyed the beaches of Newport! We also had some amazing meals with our friends, got to celebrate the new addition to our group, and I even got a little shopping in!
In case you haven’t been following me for a while, Justin and I lived in Carlsbad Village for a year right after our wedding. Justin was relocated down to Camp Pendleton the day after returning home from our honeymoon. I so loved living in San Diego and spent a good amount of time in the neighboring beach towns like Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Coronado, etc. We also celebrated our 5 year anniversary in Huntington Beach so it was nice to drive up the coast from Newport to check it out again, all these years later.
I’m definitely loving all these little vacations we’ve been able to take this year and honestly the reason for us being able to travel as much as we have so far is all thanks to JIFU Travel, the exclusive invite only wholesale travel club I’m a member of! As I’ve mentioned in earlier posts, I have buddy passes for JIFU that will allow you to check out and take advantage of the savings without having to join as a member. You’ll get the perks for 6 months on one buddy pass! The savings you’ll see on a buddy pass are half that of a members savings, but for not having to pay anything to access the site it’s really good! If you travel a lot for work or personal than membership is definitely the way to go.
Anyway, if you ever find yourself in Newport Beach you should definitely check out the Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel. I promise you will not be disappointed!!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!
