I love all the lace pieces in the Kobi Halperin collection for Macy’s. This bomber jacket is just to die for! But while I am obsessed with all the lace this faux fur pocket vest stood out when shopping the collection before NYFW. I loved how different it was from the rest of the collection and how the faux fur detail was removable for a sleek look. When pulling for NYFW I always try to find pieces I can work in with items I already have. I immediately thought about my fur accent mules from Franco Sarto and knew these were a match made in heaven.
This lace trim cami worked so well with this vest as well as the bomber jacket and many other pieces I was planning on bringing with me to New York. I probably could have worn it everyday but that would have been a bit excessive! I wore this outfit the first night in New York for a blogger dinner. It was so fun to finally meet so many girls in person that I feel I already know and am friends with! Since I had been traveling all day I wanted to be comfortable but still stylish. These jeans are so comfortable and the high waist is super flattering. I think this outfit fits the bill of being stylish yet I was super comfortable and probably could have been out all night in it…and I practically was! New York is the city that never sleeps and it couldn’t be more true. I don’t believe I fell asleep till after 2:45am, eek!
