Since I recently had the incredible experience of having my first quota bag offer from Hermes I figured I would share with you my journey to get a Birkin offer and what myths were debunked regarding the Hermes game. Quota Bag Myth #1 First off, the idea that you need to spend 1:1 or 2:1 to receive a quota bag offer is false. While I have spent a good amount on items from Hermes that I love, I was nowhere near a 1:1 spend for the bag I was offered. I did make purchases from a few product categories like, shoes and fashion jewelry. I also have a number of Hermes pieces that I purchased resale before starting my in-store Hermes journey. But, I haven't purchased any items from home or ready to wear yet. I did mention to my Sales Associate (SA) that once we either remodel our house or purchase another I'd love to add some of their ... Mason and Cooper’s Shared Brother Bedroom
A while back I shared the inspiration behind what is going to be Mason and Cooper's shared brother bedroom. Mason opted for a Safari themed room and I ran with it. Not only did I purchase a bunch of pieces that fit the safari theme I also created an accent wall with the help of my dad. Cooper will not be sleeping in their shared room for quite a while but since I have it cleaned up and organized I figured I'd better share now before Mason's toys have taken over the entire floor space in their room, as they usually ... The Best Nail Art Trends For Summer 2021
One thing I absolutely love having some fun with are my manicures. I love bold designs as well as subtle but interesting combinations. At the beginning of 2020, before the pandemic hit, I made a promise to never have boring nails...I know it sounds a little silly but I was looking forward to getting outside of my comfort zone and really nailing the nail art (pun intended). I had a few really great manicures before everything shut down and as soon as I was able to I've picked up where I left off. Before I head in to get a mani/pedi ... Read more...
DIY Modern Wood Trim Accent Wall
I mentioned a while ago that Mason had requested a safari animal theme for his, soon to be, shared room with his baby brother. I finally started working on updating his room now that I am no longer working the temp job I took on at the beginning of the year. The first thing we did was have his closet updated. My dad actually took this project on by himself doing all the demo and finish work, including painting, while I was still working. My father-in-law helped him assemble the Ikea closet system we purchased. I am so excited with how ... Read more...
Safari Themed Baby Shower
Can't believe it but we've made it to baby boy's due date month! Just two weekends ago I had my baby shower to celebrate our baby boy with my family and friends. My mother in law hosted and with the help of one of her sisters was able to create the most adorable safari themed baby shower. Since Mason had decided on a safari themed bedroom for him to share in the future with his baby brother I thought it was best to carry the theme for the baby shower. I was so pleased with how it all turned out. We had a few hiccups but in the end ... Read more...
