Time is flying by and Cooper is already 6 months old! So I thought it was about time I post an update on Cooper as well as share my reviews for Cooper's new car seat the Cybex Sirona S convertible car seat and his Cybex Gazelle stroller. I'm so happy to be partnering with Cybex for all of Cooper's travel gear, starting with his infant car seat. And now adding these two products, which have been absolutely amazing. They're both super functional as well as stylish and both have special features that are hard to find in other brands. Cooper is growing like a weed. Cooper, at six months, already weighs as much a Mason did when he was one years old. I'm guessing that his length isn't too far off either as Cooper is in the 94th percentile for his length. My boys truly couldn't be more different when it comes to the growth charts and ... Read more...
Subscribe to a more Sustainable Healthy Home with Grove Collaborative
I am super excited to share that today's blog post is sponsored by Grove Collaborative! I have been wanting to work with Grove for quite some time now. They carry so many of the brands that I already use and love for our home and self care. If you've been reading my blog or following me on social media for any length of time I would hope you have gathered that choosing healthy, more sustainable options is a priority for me. Since first becoming a dog mama over a decade ago, I have looked for chemical-free, pet safe products to ... Read more...
Safari Themed Nursery
I had been trying to decide on a theme for our shared room/nursery for Mason and our new baby for the past few weeks and when I couldn't decide on my own I decided to ask Mason what he would want. After giving him a few different options he quickly decided on a safari theme. I think it was definitely the right choice to let him decide since he's sharing the room and I want him to feel like it's still his room too. So while this room isn't a dedicated nursery I still think everything that I've picked so far definitely works for a ... Read more...
Tiny Home Interior Inspiration
Some of you may remember me talking about our latest big home design project Justin and I started back in 2020. We've been converting a detached shed, previously used for my home office and gym, into an ADU. Without changing the roof line we were able to create a comfortable, livable space. While I miss having a separate space for working out and a dedicated work area the potential of this tiny home is huge. I thought I would give you a little home tour along with a few photos we snapped throughout the process. It's definitely been ... Read more...
Bump Friendly Non-Maternity Sweater Dress
If you're looking for a bump friendly non-maternity dress, then a sweater dress is one of the best. This one in particular is form fitting but stretchy and will definitely grow with you and your bump. The ruffle hem detail definitely makes this dress and gives it a little flair! I think as my baby bump grows this bump friendly non-maternity sweater dress will look even better. It will also be great postpartum, so really is just an all around winner and it's only $36!! I sized up one to a medium but think I probably could have gotten ... Read more...
Powder Cannon Gender Reveal
I decided that for this baby we would do a gender reveal. We didn't do one with Mason because Justin and I were both at my obgyn appointment for the ultrasound and so we were able to get the news at the same time. Also, we didn't have a 4 year old, like we do now, who had his idea of what we're having. I really wanted to get him excited for his new sibling and thought that doing a powder cannon gender reveal would be fun for him! We didn't have a big party to do the reveal, because COVID, but also because I wanted it to be about Mason ... Read more...
