My roundup post with the best nail art trends for Summer 2021 did so well that I decided to bring it back. I’ve been searching to find the best nail art trends for Fall 2021 on Pinterest and on my favorite nail artists accounts on Instagram. These five trends I’ve seen over and over and think they’re going to be the biggest nail art trends for fall. Let me know which nail art trend you like the most in the comments below.
Fall Foliage – The changing of the leaves is one major indicator of fall and I’m loving the idea of swapping out floral nail art for leaves. You can choose to do any fall leaf that you want and if you don’t have a steady hand or your manicurist doesn’t do nail art there are tons of nail decals you can buy to get the look.
Tortoise Shell – I’ve noticed this trend on Pinterest and on some of the pages of nail artists I follow on Instagram. It is so cool how they can create the look of tortoise shell. This is definitely a trend I’m trying. What do you think?! I’ll probably try this another time with less black and more dimension hopefully.
Plaid – To keep it classy and not too overwhelming maybe don’t do it on all your nails but a plaid accent nail or two per hand is a nice way to mix in the feeling of fall into your manicure. For this manicure I also decided to incorporate all the colors I used on my other nails into the plaid design. I feel like it pulled everything together so nicely.
Foil – I’ve been loving the addition of foil in nail art. I personally would use it sparingly to create a beautiful impact. This manicure was perfect for a wedding I attended so if you’re in need of some inspiration for a wedding guest or bridesmaid manicure this could be it!
Two-tone Jewel-tone – Choose whichever autumn color you please, I suggest going with a jewel-tone, in two slightly different shades. It’s a minimal approach to nail art but looks stunning nonetheless. I had no idea that this manicure would be the one I ended up getting the most compliments on. It’s so simple, yet makes a statement!
