Can’t believe it but we’ve made it to baby boy’s due date month! Just two weekends ago I had my baby shower to celebrate our baby boy with my family and friends. My mother in law hosted and with the help of one of her sisters was able to create the most adorable safari themed baby shower. Since Mason had decided on a safari themed bedroom for him to share in the future with his baby brother I thought it was best to carry the theme for the baby shower. I was so pleased with how it all turned out. We had a few hiccups but in the end everything turned out perfectly, and it was so nice to have what felt like a normal (pre-covid times) party to celebrate.
I’m happily fully vaccinated as were almost all of my friends and family members who attended. I can’t tell you how much of a relief it is for me and it’s nice to be getting back to a sense of normal. We definitely pushed back the baby shower as far as we could hoping for this scenario and I am so happy that we did it this way. Anyway, I wanted to share some of the details of my baby shower in case you’re pregnant and planning a baby shower for this summer now that things have opened back up again and more and more people are getting vaccinated.
