I recently attended a beauty blogger event at The Original Facial Bar in San Jose. Even though the event was on my wedding anniversary I decided to go. Justin and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary a few nights earlier because we had night coverage for Mason and because Justin’s next fire shift started the day after so we wouldn’t have been able to go out even if we wanted to. I am so happy I attended because it was so much fun. It was a small intimate event with just four bloggers in total but boy were we pampered.
I had no idea what to expect and so I was so surprised when we had a full facial experience. Each treatment they gave us was so unique. Their products are all natural and they smelt amazing. I so wish you could smell the products through the screen! PS how cute is the bow headband to keep my hair out of my face?! I wanted to take it home with me so badly. Maybe I can find somewhere online that carries a similar option for purchase!
I had never experienced a magnetic mud mask facial before so I was excited to try it. The feeling when they used the magnet to take off the mask was so cool. I wish I could describe it better to you but all I can think of is that the mask literally flew off my face when the magnet made contact with the mud. Check the close up to see what it looks like after it’s been removed!
The green slime mask was also something I had never had before. The mask covered your eyes and mouth, so if you are at all claustrophobic this treatment isn’t for you. I felt totally relaxed as the mask set on my face. I almost fell asleep before the removed it. The slime dries into a rubbery mask they remove all in one piece. Sadly, I wanted to capture a good video of the mask being taken off but was unable to do so since I couldn’t see anything (or talk) to help the woman out who offered to do the video.
Next treatment was the oxygen mask. Unlike other oxygen masks I’ve received this one os brushed over your skin then quickly starts to foam and pop much like the bubbles in a bubble bath. The feeling of this one was so cool. I could hear all the bubbles popping on my skin and after it was removed my skin felt absolutely amazing. The last pictures I took are with no makeup on and my skin looked amazing!
I would definitely come back to The Original Facial Bar for more treatments. They made us feel and look amazing and my skin only got better the days after the event. Thank you so much to The Original Facial Bar for hosting us and for providing these complimentary services!
