So we’re over halfway through our stay in San Jose. The time seemed to be going so slow initially and then now it seems to be flying by. I think that’s partly because I’ve finally fallen into a routine with Mason. I have an outlet to give myself “me time” and work time. The Bay Club has seriously been giving me life lately. It has allowed me to get my workouts in without having to work them in around Justin’s schedule and it has given Mason some independence. He’s grown so much it seems from being in daycare there even if it’s just for a couple hours a day, 2-3 days a week. As a SAHM/WAHM a few hours off is such a game changer. And, in my opinion, is making me a much better mom.
What else is giving me life these days, well for one my coconut milk lattes! While I’m making coffee at home, I still can’t help treating myself to a latte when I’m out running errands which are typically at Target or Safeway…and in case you’ve been living under a rock, both have Starbucks inside! Amazon Prime, but when does it not! It has been saving me extra trips to the store when I’ve forgotten something or Mason has just run out/about to run out of his favorite snacks. Food delivery in general, because with a toddler sometimes I just don’t feel like running out to go shopping.
Probably the most important thing that gives me life is Mason! His sweet kisses are the absolute best and he’s been giving them out pretty generously lately. I don’t know what I would do without his kisses and hugs. Oh and his smile and laugh definitely gives me life daily. This little stud has the sunniest disposition. Yes he can get pouty and does know how to throw a good tantrum or even better decide 3am is a good time to wake up and not let mama leave his room…or else more tears! So yeah, he has his ups and downs like anyone does but I just love him so much!!
So yeah, I’m sure there’s more things that give me life (like the IG filter that somehow masks my puffy eyes) but those above are currently the biggest ones.
