I knew this day would come but I can hardly believe that Mason is already one year old! That first year just flew on by. Mason is looking more and more like a handsome little man and while he’s not going to daycare/pre-school. He’s finally grown out of his 9 months clothing, so I’ve given him a whole new 12-18 months wardrobe just in time for fall! Now especially with baby clothes, I hate spending a lot of money because they don’t make it too long before Mason’s already grown out of them. I know his growth pace has been slower than some of our friends’ children so I’ve been lucky in that his clothes have lasted longer than most. Even so, it still seems like he only gets to wear clothes a couple of times before they start to get too small.
JCPenney has a great selection of Carter’s Baby clothing. I love that so many of the baby boy clothes come in sets that are all under $30! JCPenney is currently having a sale that ends on 9/24 for 50% off Carter’s apparel (select styles) which is perfect for stocking up on baby /toddler clothes. Also from 9/15-9/16 there’s a spotlight deal – $9.99 Carter’s 3-Piece Turn Me Around Sets (regularly priced $22). I bought Mason 12-18 month clothing so that some of the pieces will fit him now and others will be great in a couple of months. I must say that for Carter’s Baby clothes I feel like they run large. Again, I know Mason is on the smaller side but some of the 9-12 months shoes and clothing are still too big for him now so we will have a wardrobe that’s going to last him for a while.
