Eyebrow tinting has become one of my new favorite beauty routines. I get my eyebrows tinted about every 6 weeks, as often as I get my hair done. Before I started tinting my eyebrows I realized that they could use some love. I used to use Nars blondie eyeshadow everyday to fill in my eyebrows and make them appear darker so that they stood out. My eyebrow hairs are blonde so without it they are barely noticeable.
Now as a new mom, it is hard to find time to do my makeup. Justin leaves so early in the morning so I don’t have him to watch Mason while I take some time to get myself ready in the morning. I know I could just start waking up before Mason does, but this mama likes to sleep in as much as possible! Especially because Mason tends to not really nap during the day. There are many days that I don’t wear any makeup at all but now that I have my eyebrows tinted at least my eyes pop even if I’m not fully made up. I feel like it makes me look more put together even if I’m a total mess.
So here are the 5 Steps to better eyebrows that take less than 20 minutes, thanks to my go-to gal.
Step 1: Prep the eyebrows. A little waxing can go a long way!
Step 2: Apply the eyebrow tint and let sit.
Step 3: Using a Q-tip remove any tint that got on the skin.
Step 4: Fill in any areas where there is little to no hair with brow tinted gel.
Step 5: Walk out feeling better than when you walked in!
Getting my eyebrows tinted takes little to no time so right after my hair appointment I have been going right next door to get my eyebrows done. It tacks on maybe an extra 20 minutes, which is well worth it in my opinion and not too much to ask whomever is watching your little one to hang on just a little bit longer! If you live in Santa Cruz or the neighboring towns I highly recommend you visiting Von Lux Skin & Body to get your eyebrows done by Jill!
Have you gotten your eyebrows tinted? And if so, do you think it’s a game changer?!
