I don’t know about you but for me finding a new gym & fitness studio is such a process. Like searching for a new place to live, similar rules apply to finding a new gym and yoga studio; cross your fingers for a Bar Method studio near by (at least within a reasonable driving distance.) Things I look for: a place that makes me feel comfortable, is very clean (seeing people clean while you workout, to me, is a bonus), has a good layout, has all the right equipment, and offers great group classes.I have to say the search this time is going to be tough since my last gym was the best one to date; too bad there isn’t a Chuze Fitness around here! I’m starting to miss Carlsbad more and more.

I’m out in the “country” at my parents while my husband serves our country and so a drive is inevitable if you want to find anything good. Sigh, there is no Bar Method anywhere remotely close…not even in Monterey! The closest is in Santa Clara and let’s face it, if you have to drive an hour to get to a class you most likely are not going to go on a regular basis, maybe once in a while if a friend wants to join.
