One thing I’m definitely going to miss now back from NYFW and back to reality is getting my hair done every day by the amazingly talented hair stylists over at the TRESemmé salon at Lincoln Center. They were able to completely transform my look by molding my hair into runway inspired looks. I never really thought about my hair as an accessory, but to the stylists I worked with over the days I was at Lincoln Center taught me, rather showed me, how my hair could be my biggest accessory and the one that could make the most impact. I could not think of a more perfect time to be daring and bold with my hair styles than at fashion week so I took some risks and went way out of my comfort zone all with the help of the TRESemmé team. My favorite hairstyle would have to be my day two TRESemmé hair. You can see from my outfit post how drastically different I looked once my hair was taken from my post blowout ponytail to this side up-do with braid (not even sure how to describe this masterpiece).

On day three I couldn’t decide what I wanted to do so I asked my TRESemmé stylist for some recommendations of hairstyles she thought would compliment my outfit as well as my facial features. She had just done all the hair for the Marissa Webb show the day before and asked if I would be up for an up-do inspired by their runway hair. I loved the look from Marissa Webb so I thought why not! It was definitely a look that took me out of my comfort zone. The hairstyle is much edgier than I am. I even felt it was too edge for my outfit so when I changed from my day look to my night look I went with clothes I had that fit the hairstyle. This hairstyle did get a lot of attention when I was out from the shows. I was asked by many of the photographers staring outside Lincoln Center if they could photograph my hair and my look! That was definitely one really fun part about my fashion week experience.
