I absolutely love my two-piece set from Top Shop that I purchased during Nordstrom anniversary sale. It looks great as a pair and also works perfectly worn separately. I typically have worn this skirt with a white blouse when not paired with the crop top but for fashion week I wanted to be more bold. I purchased this lace and pinstripe blouse before leaving for New York with the intention to wear it together and I must admit I think it really works. The lace overlay stops right after the waistband of the skirt so when the shirt is tucked in it hangs over and you’re able to see the detailing of the lace. This shirt is actually really oversized and almost long enough to be a shirt dress but you can’t tell with this outfit. I can’t wait to pair it with skinny jeans for work or with shorts on the weekend. It’s a look I’ve really been loving lately, where the bottom of your shirt just grazes the bottom of the shorts.
Top: Endless Rose. Skirt: Topshop, sold out, similar. Shoes: Rachel Zoe, no longer available in nude, here’s the black and gold version. Handbag: 3.1 Phillip Lim.
