This past weekend Justin, Mason and I went to the Color Factory in San Francisco. I had been wanting to go for so long but kept being unable to purchase tickets before they sold out. So when they opened up tickets for March and April I knew I had to be on my A game and get tickets before they sold out again. I was excited to bring Mason along as I knew he would enjoy the interactive aspects of the Color Factory as well as all the colors! I didn’t get to bring Mason with me when I went to the Museum of Ice Cream and I saw how kid friendly it was and knew he would have really enjoyed it.
Taking a toddler poses a few challenges but with Justin I knew it would be totally manageable and so much more fun to see the pop-up museum through his eyes. The Color Factory was seriously so much fun for all of us and definitely was the perfect family outing. Just like with the Museum of Ice Cream, the Color Factory allows you to feel like a kid again! There is something for all your senses. The museum starts off with yummy macaroons and ends with the tastiest soft serve ice cream. We had a ton of fun in the yellow ball pit but I think Mason’s favorite part had to be the massive Lite-Brite wall. He loved pulling out the pieces and putting them back in different places.
I got the cutest boomerang of Mason flying through the ribbon room which I posted on my Instagram. We seriously had so much fun and I took hundreds of pictures on my iPhone to capture all the adorable moments with Mason. I am just so happy we were able to experience this as a family! So fun, and I just wish it lasted longer so that I could go back another time and for those who were unable to get tickets or who are from out of town could have the chance to go.
