I haven’t worn faux leather pants in YEARS! My first pair was from the Gap, way back when I was still a high school student. The closest I came to faux leather pants was a pair of paperbag waist faux leather shorts I bought for NYFW a few years ago and my faux leather mini skirt that I am obsessed with!! I bought these pants pre-quarantine and got them just in time for our family trip to Disneyland. I did get to wear them on that trip, but they’ve been sitting patiently in my closet ever since. I decided to wear them the other night for take-out pick up (😜) for a date night in but can’t wait till I can wear these out for a proper date that lasts longer than a few minutes out of the car to pay for our food.
Yes, I was that girl, that got dressed up for literally no reason other than to make sure the pants still fit and to force myself out of loungewear. But hey, I would never judge anyone for what works for them, so I am hopeful you all won’t be judging me!
I got this tank in a few colors because I love that they’re fitted so they’re great for tucking into pants and skirts without creating extra bulk around my midsection. It’s still my most stubborn area. The mom pooch is real and it doesn’t want to leave. I’m actually going to be trying something new out soon, and if it works I’ll be sure to report back and share with everyone!!
