Ya’ll I’m making my way through my NYFW content slowly but surly. Today is all about my day three recap. If you missed my NYFW day one and/or day two diary you should definitely check them out!
Day three started out with one of my favorite shows of the season, Custo Barcelona. But, it also started with one of my biggest blunders! I realized I left my camera in my hotel room after I got into my Uber on my way to Custo Barcelona. I begged my driver to wait 5 minutes for me to run up and get it, but as I’m sure you probably guessed that was a BIG FAT NO. New Yorkers I tell you! I was happy to see a friendly face when I arrived, Christina-Lauren of Inspirations and Celebrations. I met her a while back at the Line39 influencer event in San Francisco. We enjoyed some coffee before the show and thankfully she was so kind to let me use some of her images since I didn’t have my camera. The close up detail photos below are hers!
I am always blown away by Custo Barcelona’s collections. His use of color, pattern, and texture really speak to me! His entire runway collection was like one big party that I wanted to be invited to. Metallics were seen throughout and I loved how each piece was so unique.

After Custo, I headed toward the next show location and grabbed a bite to eat with Kat (KatWalk SF). I got the avo toast with poached eggs which was super yummy!! I typically have only one good meal a day during NYFW just because you’re racing around so much but today I got to eat two really good meals!
My next show was Jasmine. I hadn’t seen her collection before so I was very curious. My seat ended up being right across from Miss J and Paris Hilton. It was so funny because they had to ask me to scoot over just slightly so that her photographer could sit next to me/directly across from her. You’d think they would have known about that in advance so as to not give someone a seat there…but I guess there must have been a mix up. The collection had some really fun earrings and butterfly details on many of the pieces. I also loved the floral arrangement they had on the runway. Such a beautiful touch. They weren’t the only designers to do that this season and I really enjoyed it!
After Jasmine, I decided to get my hair touched up at the Style Coalition and eBay fashion lounge. They treated us to yummy snacks, dessert, and drinks. As well as hair and makeup touchups provided by GlamSquad and a few great photo ops. I snapped this fun boomerang with some of my blogger babes.
After the lounge, I met up with my friend Lavenda (Lavenda’s Closet) to shoot our outfits and to grab dinner. I had already photographed the outfit I was wearing so after I took photos of her look we went back to my hotel for a quick outfit change before going to dinner at Gitano in Tribeca. I was obsessed with the decor. You definitely feel like you are transported somewhere else as soon as you walk up to the restaurant. I was so happy it was in walking distance to my hotel. While we waited to be seated she took photos of my gingham on gingham outfit that I can’t wait to share with you all soon. I did give you all a sneak peek on my Instagram feed.
That was it for my day three of NYFW. Stay tuned for my day and night outfits coming to the blog very soon as well as my day four recap.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by the blog today!
