It’s that time of year again when Nordstrom selects some Fall 2021 items in each shopping category and places them on sale for a limited time before the Fall retail season officially kicks off. I have been shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for the past few years and feel like I have a pretty good handle on things, including best practices for shopping the highly anticipated 2021 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Like previous years, shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can be frustrating. Some popular items like my Barefoot Dreams cardigan or Spanx faux leather leggings (regular and maternity) sell out super fast so it pays to shop the sale early if you are looking to add these Fall closet staples to your wardrobe or if it’s time to swap out your tried and true favorite for a new one.
PRO Tip: Get a head start and wishlist all the items you are interested in purchasing prior to the sale starting. You get to select the size and color you want for each item if applicable so that shopping online and checkout is super easy and you’re not spending time during the sale looking through everything possibly missing out on purchasing the one or two items you really wanted.
If you love shopping the sale and are not already a Nordstrom card holder, it pays to sign up to get one. Even though the online preview is up for anyone to view, just like with previous years, early access to shop opens up by cardholder status. There are major benefits to being a cardholder and not just for the NSale! Nordstrom also incentivizes cardmembers to shop by offering bonus Nordstrom Notes, and if previous years can tell us anything, cardmembers who shop early access 9 times out of 10 end up getting 10x points during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because of complications shopping online (ie site crashing) and/or product cancellations.
